Morning: Workshops

Day 2 will feature a series of intimate workshops on digital transformation themes.

The morning sessions will kick off at 9:30am. These will be repeated after a short break, before we finish with lunch at 1pm.

Delegates can choose a maximum of two workshops.

These are intimate, deep dive sessions intended to allow attendees the opportunity to raise issues and ask questions relevant to their organisation. As a result, spaces are extremely limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Identity

Managing identity and entitlements on premises and in the cloud

Presenters: Simon Veale and Robert Jones (Microsoft)

This session will touch on Microsoft Identity Strategy, including how customers have deployed hybrid cloud technologies, connected infrastructures to the cloud, and managed identities in the cloud from a provisioning and authentication set of best practices.

Security

A real life security platform with Microsoft technology

Presenters: David Guest and Mark Dennis (Evolve North)

Take a deep dive into the ever-changing security landscape. This workshop will look in detail at information governance, along with the management and security of the platform.

You will discover how to protect data and credentials to enable a business without borders.

Productivity

How to deliver a digital workplace on Office 365

Presenter: Wes Hackett (AddIn365)

CIO and IT directors are being tasked with delivering digital workplaces – encompassing intranet, extranet and collaboration – whilst simultaneously being tasked with maximising ROI on their organisations’ investment in Office 365.

The challenge many face is that with 14 services across the Office 365 platform, it is hard to understand what services are available or how to use them to maximise business adoption and value.

In this working session, Wes will lead a workshop to support IT directors and CIOs in understanding how the 14 different Office 365 services can be used to meet their key digital workplace business objectives.

Platform

Azure Everywhere

Presenters: Mathew Richards and Steve Plank (Microsoft)

This workshop will focus on the capabilities of running and operating a secure infrastructure on Azure.

It will be an interactive session that will cover topics such as networking, virtual machines, storage and operations management.

The session will also include insights into other areas of the Azure platform.

FIM / MIM

Monitoring your identity system with Identity Panel

Presenters: Hugh Simpson-Wells and Peter Sidebotham

In this practical session, we will show how Sync panel can provide monitoring for your entire identity landscape.

We will introduce a hybrid set-up that spans Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, with MIM and AAD Connect synchronising between these and other applications (in the cloud and on-premises).

Then we will show how Identity Panel can provide management, monitoring, and reporting of identity data, including historical reporting of changes as they go through – impacting administrative efficiency, security and compliance.

Azure AD B2C

Improving the customer experience and protecting identities

Presenter: Marcus Idle and Paul Barratt

In this interactive session, you will learn how to take advantage of existing cloud infrastructure to improve security, reduce password fatigue and drive customer adoption of your online services.

Afternoon: Ask the expert

Delegates who attend the morning workshops will have the opportunity to ‘Ask The Expert’, as we make our industry-leading architects available for one-to-one sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss your specific challenges and gain insight on potential solutions.

Our architects will be available between 1:30pm and 4:00pm.

If you would like to make an appointment to ‘Ask The Expert’, please tick the option in the form below and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your requirements.
