Cloud identity approach and strategy

Presenters: Simon Veale and Hugh Simpson-Wells

In this session, we will introduce and demonstrate the latest Microsoft identity features. From on-premises to the cloud, and what goes in between.

We’ll start with a look at MIM Service Pack 1, before taking a look at how Azure AD Connect now allows connection to sources in addition to AD and Azure AD.

Finally, we’ll move on to a feast of security-related additions to the EM+S suite.

Secure the modern workplace: Protecting people, data and devices

Presenter: Mat Richards

In this session, we will introduce Microsoft’s latest security technologies and take a look at the current security landscape.

We will cover the complete lifecycle of users and their devices. From security and protection for the initial user, and the device provisioning process, to the device being decommissioned and the user leaving the company.

Finally, you will see how to visualise the operational and security state of the environment.

As systems have changed over time, and more and more data is being held in the cloud, it becomes necessary to understand how this can be protected against loss or leakage.

This session will discuss the issues and resolution of some of these problems; ensuring that unstructured data can be protected as strongly as structured data.

Securing consumer and partner access

Learn how to integrate your home-grown web applications and 3rd party SaaS with your trusted partners. Give them online access without having to send them new credentials, and stay in control of groups and security.

You will also learn how to take advantage of existing cloud infrastructure to reduce password fatigue and drive customer adoption of your online services.

This session will help you to better secure your web real estate and provide a consistent experience across applications.

This funky new venue features an American-style décor, Olympic-sized ping pong tables, artisan pizzas and a wide variety of craft beer to help delegates wind down after a day of learning and discussion.
