Position: Support Analyst
Working hours: 37.5
Location: Cwmbran, South Wales
Works closely with: Service Desk Analyst, Support Consultants, Service Delivery
Salary: Negotiable

Role Description

The Support Analyst is responsible for the operational support of multiple large-scale customer solutions and applications with a particular focus on Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 and its associated technologies.

Support is provided through maintenance, modification, problem resolution and incident management.

Essential knowledge and experience:

  • Demonstrable ability and experience troubleshooting complex bespoke applications deployed in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to read and modify code written in VB.Net and C#
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory / Windows based servers
  • Demonstrable ability to learn to support complex enterprise systems
  • Experience of Operational Support with a proven record of troubleshooting and resolving issues within a business environment
  • Excellent organisational skills needed
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, virtual environment
  • Ability to work independently, on multiple projects at the same time, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong writing and speaking abilities, necessary to explain technical issues in a clear and compelling manner to various levels of technical and business audience
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Desirable technical skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with operation/support of Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2 (FIM Portal, FIM Service and FIM Sync Engine)
  • Relevant degree or equivalent
  • Microsoft Professional certifications

Key responsibility areas:

  • Support Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2 (FIM Portal, FIM Service and FIM Sync Engine)
  • Implementation and testing of new/updated FIM Management Agents and various other applications/code
  • Maintenance and support of existing Management Agents
  • Perform BAU daily FIM health checks
  • Perform BAU daily Access and Identity Management task

Key interfaces:

  • Works closely with all support teams within IT
  • Liaise with IT management to report or escalate issues
  • Works regularly with all customers to ensure best possible IT service and incident resolution
  • Works closely with Operations and Service
  • Occasionally works directly with partners of the business to ensure swift resolution of technical queries and incidents

Position: Telemarketing Executive
Working hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday – Friday (37.5 hours)
Location: Cwmbran, South Wales
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Salary: £25,000 OTE

Role Description

We are looking for a goal oriented Telemarketing Executive to join our South Wales based Marketing team.

The Telemarketing Executive will be responsible for generating and nurturing sales opportunities for the OCG sales team.

There will be an opportunity to network with customers and prospects at events, to host customer webinars and use LinkedIn to engage with the IT industry to generate leads.

This role offers the right person a great opportunity to develop their skills and gain great experience in a fast paced environment at a market leading company, working closely with Microsoft.

Training is also available from OCG and Microsoft.

Main duties to include:

  • Building and nurturing own pipeline
  • Researching new prospects including use of LinkedIn
  • Following up after events to further market the business to attendees
  • Database cleansing and data accuracy
  • Prioritising and scheduling calls
  • Audience generation for seminars and events and following up attendees and registrations
  • Entering accurate call notes within CRM solution
  • Regular activity reporting and updates with Marketing Manager

Key requirements

  • Minimum 2 years telemarketing/telesales experience, with proven track record of success
  • Experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience in nurturing leads and setting appointments
  • Experience using a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce, Sage, Act)
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Professional approach

  • Event networking experience
  • IT industry experience
